We are offering a Gallic classic translated into English by William Henry Ireland in London in 1808. And 90 years later was cased and bound in half-leather and marbled boards wit extra gilt on spine with six compartments and a gilt title on red label. All edges are marble, as well as endpapers. Printer colphon last blank R. Wilks, Printer. 89, Chancery-lane. Sold in London Printed for B. Crosby and Co, Stationer's-Court, Ledgate-street 1808. Bound later by Robert Smith (signed with small stamp) 225 pp Some occasional light scattered foxing. Primarily on edges. 12mo.
