London: Edward Arnold, 1890. Second edition. Hardcover. g. 8vo. 250pp. Decorated medium blue cloth with gilt and dark blue. Head and tail of spine and edges bumped and rubbed with a small slight closed tear at the head of the spine. Corner are worn. A few small stains on the front cover. Slight foxing on the edges and throughout the book. Previous owner's bookplate on inside front cover. Starting. Edges are untrimmed. Illustrated throughout with b&w photographs. Overall in good condition.
