Bristol: J W Arrowsmith, 1923. First edition (hardback). 4to (32cm by 27cm), xxiv, 191pp. Frontispiece, 69 plates, text illustrations. Original two-tone cloth binding (grey spine, white boards), title label to the spine, top edge gilt. Binding dusty, some chafing to the extremities of the binding, endpapers browned, light staining of the frontispiece. Overall, this copy is in good condition. Signed and inscribed by the author on the front free endpaper.
