Los Angeles: Historical Society of Southern California, 1994. First edition thus. Paperback. Illustrated softcovers. 123 pp. With chronology, bibliography, index. Illustrated with photographs and reproductions. First trade edition. Generally fine with a touch of rubbing to the lower left spine corner. Mongraph on John Fletcher Lummis, who arrived in Los Angeles from Ohio in 1885 and built El Alisal, a rustic American craftsman-style 4000 square foot home in the late 19th and early 20th century. It today houses the Historical Sociry of Southern California.
