San Francisco: the newspaper, 1898. Sheet_music. Single folio leaf folded once to make a 14x11 inch sheet music brochure with two graphics in color. Content, music notation for a martial air. Graphics show an armed "spirit of patriotism" on front cover, her sword collapsing a flag back cover: a run-up to the Spanish American War which Examiner's Hearst promoted. Good copy, printed on thickish partially-alkaline paper; has a little edgewear and dust, a two narrow sun-lines.
