Fine woodcut bookplate of Sisson With a review compliments slip tipped in. Covers alittle rubbed. From the library of C.J Sisson. (18851966) with his very slight annotations.Scholar and critic, especially expert in the handwriting of Shakespeare's time. His edition of Shakespeare was published in 1954, and is supplemented by New Readings in Shakespeare (2 vols., 1956), discussions of individual textual problems.
