Greenwich, Connecticut: New York Graphic Society, 1971. First Edition. Cloth. Very Good/Very Good. First Edition, large format, folio almost 13 inches in height, and 9.75 inches in width, 1.75 inches thick, 288 pages, 162 illustrations with 58 tipped in pltes, Very clean cloth boards, tight and square with sharp corners, very bright gilt titles to spine, very light foxing on top edge of front and rear board, very light foxing marks on fore edge, called Very Good because of foxing, without foxing the book is Fine, No previous owner book plate or writing, very clean and all plates and images are complete. Jacket is Very Good, a 3 inch closed tear on bottom of rear panel, sunning on top edge with light crumple, spine has a small red mark. preserved in a new mylar sleeve. Presents much better but I always point out condition issues. A nice, solid copy at a most reasonable price. Professionally shipped at cost. Folio - over 12" - 15" tall.
