A few ink corrections and marginal notations; this copy belonged to one of the members of the committee, Dr. Ken Kusmer. Edward Mallory "Ned" Almond (1892-1979) was a United States Army officer who fought in World War I and World War II (commanding the 92nd Infantry Division), and commanded the U.S. X Corps during the Korean War. This dissertation was the basis of the author's Edward M. Almond and the US Army: From the 92nd Infantry Division to the X Corps, published in 2019 by the University Press of Kentucky. In Near Fine Condition: a few ink notations; otherwise, clean and solid.
