New York, New York, U.S.A.: Harper & Brothers, Publishers, 1847. 282pp. Foxing/tanning to paper, soil to outer edges and creasing from page handling. The binding is precarious (hence graded poor) - the endpapers are ok (see pictures) but there is cracking in the gutter in several spots within the text. Boards have edge/rub wear, bump wear, loss/tears at the top/bottom of the spine and light soiling. Actual book for sale pictured. A reading copy. 12.8 x 19.5 x 2.5cm, wt500g. Hard Cover. Poor. 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall.
