Sound and square binding in cloth-covered boards, with silver stamped C in box on upper board. Upper fore-corner of lower board is lightly bumped. A little wear to the spine ends. 2" faint scratch on upper board. Text block edges lightly soiled and foxed. Bookplate without any ownership information has been pasted to the front free endpaper. Otherwise, the inside pages are clean and unmarked. Dust jacket has edge and corner wear, including some tiny chips, creases, and tears. The rear panel has pink offset staining but still completely legible. Rubbed along folds. A Cavendish library printing of the first of Lucy Maud Montgomery's Emily trilogy. Dustjacket art by Stanley Turner. .
