This well-loved and used book by P. J. Hurley (known as 'Waratah') was written primarily as an abridged 'Encyclopaedia for Australian Gardenersâ, arranged A - Z by topic. It deals with every plant-flowering, vegetable, fruit, grass, orchid, that many people like to grow. Full and detailed descriptions of care and cultivation are given for the specialised subjects such as sweet peas, bulbs, annuals, shrubs, trees, roses, gladioli, strawberries, peas, Christmas bush and tomatoes. .
