USA: Savings Bank Section, American Bankers Association, 1917. Book. Good. Hardcover. Signed by Author(s). First Edition. 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall. 89 pages. This wonderful association copy was presented to one of it's compilers, Ina Clement, by Milton W. Harrison, Secretary of the American Bankers Association, Savings Bank Section. On the front free endpaper Mr. Harrison has glowingly inscribed this copy to Mrs. Clement and added his stamp and signature below, dated 4/18/17. Mr. Harrison wrote the Preface and his name is included on the title page as Publisher, representing the American Banker's Association. The bibliography lists references in the following categories: Thrift and Savings; Individual Thrift; Domestic Thrift; Evidences of Thriftlessness; Economics of Thrift; National Thrift; International Thrift; Thrift Agencies. Average wear. Black cloth binding intact, but for a hairline opening at page 33. Gilt lettering upon backstrip and front board clearly legible. A special copy of this antiquarian American banking reference..
