Blue boards with black writing on spine; top and bottom of book spine rumpled. Very small bump on top corner of front board; chipping on top of front dust jacket and top of dust jacket spine. Rubbing on back side of dust jacket spine; "E.S." and cover price of $7.95 on front dust jacket flap. Tight binding and pages still look in excellent condition.
Doubleday Science Fiction First edition, First printing as indicated by "First Edition" on copyright page.
Nominated for 1980 National Book Award for hardcover science fiction, Crowley's third novel is a post-apocalyptic tale of "saints" that has been described as "pleasant and idyllic". Hardcover and original unclipped dust jacket protected by archival Mylar cover.
