1652. By Wa: Blith - a lover of Ingenuity. Second Edition, 1652. Includes fold-out plate in chapter 19. Has been rebound and pp closely trimmed. Half-Leather with marbled boards and mottled closed edges. Leather spine rubbed and worn to edges with 4 inch tear to head of spine, corners bumped, edges lightly. Gutters cracked, f-fep also partially detached to head and foot, else binding sound. Innermost endpapers lightly browned, small ink inscrip. to title page. Book plate inside front board, three sentence quote written in ink and 1 inch tear to f-fep. Some light foxing in small patches throughout and a light dampstain visible to top margin of many of the pages (3inch x 0.5 inch), small crease to corners of several pages near the end, else remarkably preserved, an excellent copy.. Half-Leather. Very Good. 8vo.
