"Based on extensive research in archives and drawings collections, as well as detailed investigation of the surviving buildings, this book is illustrated with over 400 photographs of the architecture, decoration, and architects' designs that enabled London and the British Isles to be significantly transformed during the period from 1755 to 1810.". Both of the volumes are in perfect, pristine condition; unread, unmarked, tight, square, and clean. The dust jackets, as is usual with this book, are lightly sunned at the spines only, else as new.
