Printed title with quotation in Greek, leaf with dedication 'To his Grace the Duke of New-Castle', leaf with two prologues recto and verso and Shadwell's comedy on following leaves, final leaf with 'Epilogue' recto. Sheet size: 209 x 165 mm. The second edition of Shadwell's comedy 'Epsom-Wells'.Thomas Shadwell's comedy of sexual mores at the then fashionable town of Epsom was first published in 1673 and is considered one of his finest efforts. Shadwell succeeded Dryden as poet laureate in 1689.[Wing S2844].
