Pagination adjusted for inserted leaf with numbering 90a - c. First edition. Book condition: very good. Light water stain and remains of adhesive to title page where label previously covering imprint details removed. Small damp mark to fore-edge of first few leaves, some minor offsetting. Minor annotations to foor of p108 and occasional light underlining of text. Blind-stamped cloth with gilt lettering. Spine slightly faded. Approx 3cms split from lower edge between rear paste-down and rear free end paper at hinge. Binding sound. This is the first edition of one of Rodbertus's most important works. It contains his critique and development of Ricardian theory. Rodbertus is famous for his accusation that Marx plundered his work. (Goldsmiths'-Kress Library of economic literature 33076).
