The pace of the rhymes give it a very whimsical beat that babies love. The pictures are bright and colorful. Lots of parent/baby interaction can occur while reading the book because there are plenty of things to point at while reading. The book familiarizes or reinforces (depending on the stage of your baby)different sites and senses. I started reading my twins this book when they were 9 months and they are now 20 months and they still love it. As a parent, you won't tire of reading this book, either...because you will be reading it ALOT. .
