Paris: Self-published. Very Good. 1880s. First Edition. Hardcover. Full blue cloth, gilt titles, page edges, rule and design, plain endpapers. Each album contains small tipped-in photogravure illustrations from various artists (Vely, Rudaux, Bodenmuller, Kaemmerer, Lejeune, Willems, Beyschlag, Coomans, De Beaumont, A. Meau, Metzmacher, Worms, Morris, Vautier, Echtler, Gerome, Bouguereau, E. Frere, Landelle, Loustaunau, Palmaroli, et al.), all numbered, sometimes erratic (beginning Album 7 with 122, ending Album 9 with 241), with tissue guards at each. No dates, circa 1880s. All with moderate rubbing and foxing, light frays and bumps, loss at spine ends, pencil prices on front endpapers, hinge splits but intact. One tissue guard loose but present (Album 7), seller label on front pastedown (Album 8), spine tear, seller label, front endpaper and a few tissue guards loose but present (Album 9). International shipping billed at cost. ; 4to 11" - 13" tall .
