The book and its contents are in generally clean, bright condition. The spine ends and corners of the book covers have some light bumping and rubbing. The text pages are mostly clean and bright, but does have a couple of small spots of discoloration. This copy has been signed with an inscription by the owner on the front endpaper. "Novelist and horticulturist Cora Miranda Baggerly Older was born in New York. While attending Syracuse University she and some friends traveled west to California.
