Some dampstaining to edges of blue cloth covers. DJ has a one and one-half inch repaired closed tear at top edge of rear panel at spine edge. The A. W. Mellon Lectures in the Fine Arts, 1957. These lectures were originally entitled "Constancy and Change in Early Art and Architecture". This first volume deals with paleolithic art. Bollingen Series 35.6.1 .
