The 'Brevis Delineatio Ecclesiae' is a 17th-century treatise on the history of the Greek orthodoxy, discussing the Greek church both in Greece and in Russia and the Middle East. Originally written by Eustratius Johannides Zialowski, this work covers the Greek Athanasian Creed and the religions formed from the Greek orthodox.
This 1681 first edition of Zialowski, edited by Wolfgang Gundling, includes accounts of Persian and Middle Eastern voyages such as those of Adam Olearius and Chrishoph Furer who both traveled into Egypt, Persia, and Palestine.
