About This Item
Hodder & Stoughton, 1954. 1st Edition. Hardcover. Good/Fair. 256 pages (complete). A simply told but utterly thrilling tale of how Teare avoided capture by the Gestapo for over a year after parachuting from his burning Lancaster over France. A healthy, spry book. The dustjacket has an adhesive laminated cover that has some bubbling and wear. The dj beneath is worn and torn. Together they have joined forces and are intact and assured. The board cover is smart and neat. The frontispage has a gift inscription (not from the author). The pages are crisply expectant, clear, clean, confident and as if unread throughout. fk. Our orders are shipped using tracked courier delivery services.
