About This Item

New York: Hurst & Company Publishers. Reprint. Suede Gift Binding. Very Good. With Illustrations after F. O. C. Darley. 12mo. Pp. 7-155. Frontis. photo reproduction. Bound in limp suede with yapp edges, gilt flourish and lettering stamped on the front board. Slight scuff to upper spine; suede on rear board a bit burnished in spots the size of a dime and quarter. Despite those factors, of the suede bindings from the era that we've handled, this is one of the better preserved. The frontispiece photographic is dated 1902; we'll guess 1905-1910 for this edition based on the suede binding.
