Constable. First edition published by Constable in 1993. This is a very good or better copy. The jacket has light wear to the spine ends. It is not price clipped. The book has no foxing. The black cloth boards are gently pushed to a couple of corners. It is overall a presentable copy. On the half title page there is a previous owners inscription, then underneath this the author and expedition team member Alf Gregory has signed his name. Then on the title page Jan Morris has signed her name. She provided the forward for this book and was also in the expedition team, reporting on their achievements.
