About This Item
London: Robert Scott, 1927. First Edition. . Hardcover. Good. First appearing in columns of the Sussex County Herald and Eastbourne Chronicle, these essays are directed to "all those who take a pleasure in the simple entertainment of the country-side." Brown textured boards with black titling, lovely colour paste down in a simple black border on front, iillustrated throughout with attractive black and white drawings. Cover has wear to corners and spine ends, a few small pale smudges but is basically clean and bright, text block edges slightly darkened, owner's name in ink on end paper, light foxing on end papers, occasional spots in text, binding is tight. In spite of flaws, this is a handsome book. 128 pages Shipping charges are calculated for a standard parcel under 1 kg. Additional charges will apply for heavier shipments, but not until the customer agrees. Canadian customers, please note that applicable sales taxes will be added. Please contact us with any questions you might have. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall
