The first and only published volume of a proposed series, presenting the evolution of architecture as shown through domestic and civic structures including homes, schools, hôtels, churches, restaurants, and other buildings, single-page preface preceding the portfolio divided into four sections: Avant Propos, Architecture Privée, Architecture Religieuse, and Architecture Publique, with 123 total plates comprised of 102 reproductions from photographs (including a single pochoir plate), primarily façades, together with some architectural details, and 21 floor plans. Table of plates. Some minor age-darkening especially along margins. Large 4to. Canvas-backed boards portfolio, ties missing, tears along spine, abrasions and rubbing to extremities. Paris (Ãditions de Bonadona) 1932. Many of the most important architects of the time are presented in this portfolio, including Michel Roux-Spitz, Jacques Ruillier, Laszlo Vago, Marcel Hennequet, E. Fahrenkamp, Josef Hoffmann, P.L. Dubuisson, Karl Ehn, and Félix Dumail.
