Corners bumped, discoloration and spotting to covers, contents clean and bright, save for small ink spot on map of France. 28 hand-colored maps, including the double-page "World" map. Cover states "Thirty third thousand." Dating of Atlas based, chiefly, on the delineations featured on the "United States & Canada Map--No. 25"; Wisconsin, as shown, extends north to Lake of the Woods while the eastern part of the vast territory, not delineated on this map, achieved statehood in 1848; no Minnesota Territory is shown (created 1849); 49th Parallel border (as shown) established 1846. An engaging atlas with contents in very good clean condition.
