[7], 8-330, [2]; [4], 4-354, [2] pp. Brown publisher's cloth with borders in blind on the boards, gilt lettering on the spines. Brown coated endpapers and pastedowns. This set published in 1874, about a decade after the 1865 Boston edition of this work. Encyclopedia Britannica, "Sir William Hamilton, 9th Baronet." Sir William Hamilton worked in metaphysics and logic. He is credited with popularizing Kant's work with English readers. Notable rubbing to the corners, including minor loss to the crowns and heels of the spines.
