Quarto (29cm.); full contemporary calf triple-ruled in blind, hinges expertly reinforced, gilt spine in 6 compartments, red gilt morocco spine label; xx,[2],447pp. Edges a bit rubbed, bottom fore-edge corner of textblock a bit dampstained slightly affecting preliminaries; bound without half title, else Very Good. Errata leaf present. Provenance: Engraved bookplate to front pastedown of the late 19th-century novelist and author of the essay The Platonism of Wordsworth J[oseph] H[enry] Shorthouse.
