Quarto (6-1/2" x 9-5/8") bound in cloth-backed illustrated boards with the spine a dark brown natural-finish cloth woven in Holland and the sides covered with gray Fabriano Ingres paper imported from Italy reproducing the front cover of a literary magazine of the 1920s; 306 pages. Introduction by Leon Edel. Illustrated with prints after photographs by Berenice Abbott, Man Ray, Andre Kertesz, Alvin Coburn, Walker Evans, and others. Copy #1034 of 2000 numbered copies SIGNED by the author and by Berenice Abbott on the colophon page. Monthly Letter laid in.
