Inscribed in ink to the free front end paper by the author and signed - to Andrew Mackenzie. [Andrew Carr Mackenzie] 1911–2001 the journalist, novelist and parapsychologist who was a writer of detective fiction and vice president of the Society for Psychical Research. A leading researcher in the field of psychical research in the 1970s. The book is one of a series published by Priory Press in it's "Social History of Science Library".
