London: William Little, 1851. Print. Otherwise very good condition. A panorama of the Crystal Palace built for the Great Exhibition which took place in London from May to October 1851. The building looks immense, despite the large crowds of people in the foreground. The Crystal Palace was erected in Hyde Park and housed the Great Exhibition of 1851, considered the first worldwide exhibition. The building housed 14,000 exhibitors in 990k square feet. It was destroyed by fire in 1936.
