(12), 344, (14, index, "numbered" A-N) pp. A discussion of the rights of every sovereign nation "to exercise exclusive jurisdiction within its own territory." Inscribed on the front endpaper "Avec mes compliments a / mon cher ami Andy Freeman / Phna (?) Nathabanja / 22 Apr. 27 / Bangkok, Siam." Small label on front pastedown: "Printed and Bound at the / Bangkok Daily Mail / [two lines of text in Thai]" within an ornamental border. Original dark green cloth (upper corners worn), gilt title and rules on spine. Endpapers with a little foxing, else very good.
