Moderate foxing throughout with periodic light pencil marginalia, (only a number here and there.) Owner's name and date (1846) in handsome brown script on FFEP; last name neatly inked on pg. 1; and a light pencil diagram drawn on the rear pastedown. One page dog-eared; two similarly creased; one with a 1-in. closed tear on the long edge. Binding is firm. Highly readable. 16mo., (4.5 x 6.75 ins.) BOOK INFO: Fables Choisies, mises en vers pars J.
