Blue cloth with silver sp. lettering, 2 short darker strips extending from centre of top and bottom edges, presumably sellotape ghosts, otherwise clean and unworn. viii + 153; mostly clean, tight and unmarked but red Withdrawn stamp to half-title plus faint remnant of a signature (no fr. end-paper appears to have been issued), thin brown vertical lines to both paste-downs and, much thinner, verso rea end-paper, lib. stamp verso t.p. and bar-code label top Contents page, which is odd. 1st ed. 1963, this has various changes and 2 Appendix es (or Appendices to be pedantic). Apparently uncommon. 14 cm x 22 cm
