Very very smallish spot to the upper edge of the front endpaper. There is some bleaching like or drying out spotting to the upper front edge of the board. Clay, a pen name used originally by Charlotte M. Brame. After her death, the name was used by numerous authors. The name Bertha M. Clay was an important and popular one in the genre. This is a very particularly scarce title. THERE ARE ONLY TWO OTHER COPIES FOUND FOR SALE ON THE INTERNET, AND THEY HAVE THE TITLE 'THAT FAIR, FALSE WOMAN.'
