March 13th 1957", "suthener" is a Cornwall term so Pilcher has signed this to a Cornish friend/acquaintance BUT MORE INTERESTING is the fact this has been signed and dated by Pilcher early in 1957 even though the publication date is 1958 so a very early copy that likely came directly from Pilcher, a rare title but extremely rare in dustjacket and stupidly rare signed, --- her 8th book as Jane Fraser and her 9th book overall, any image directly beside this listing is the actual book and not a generic photo ///SIGNED ---GUARANTEED to be AVAILABLE///.
