Illustrated by XIII: 6 tissue steel engravings, 4 lithographs and 2 wood cuts, extra illustrated title for Vol. 14; XIV: 6 steel engravings, 6 colored, 2 music (collated). First thus edition. Original red blind stamped cloth, gilt decorated spine and topboad emblem. 8vo. pp. 218; 218. Very Good. Joint repaired, cap chips and several stains to cover; sporadic foxed spots and several pressed flower foxed outlines internally. Quill owner Susan B. Dodge 1852 ffep. Period news clip of poison ivy cure and short marking ribbon laid on. In the magazine category issued 1841-53 to 15 volumes.
