London.: John Barker & Company, Ltd.. No date. Ca. 1937.. Three panel brochure; each panel measuring 9 3/4 x 8 1/2 inches. When open, each of the three panels displays fabric samples in the "Celanese Range." One of the panels provides a glittering sampling of colors featured in "Celanese" fabrics while the other two panels provide larger samples (four each panel) with text describing their qualities. Light scattered foxing to covers; overall very good clean condition. The "Marocain," for example, is "a fabric strongly featured in the latest model gowns, having the correct crepe weave, with hard-wearing and soft-draping qualities. Unsurpassable for smart Day and Afternoon Frocks, jumpers, etc." The synthetic fabrics are available in "Barker's Basement Silk Department." No WorldCat listing. .
