New York: Macmillan and Co., Limited, 1904. Leather. Very Good Indeed. 7" by 5". Unamed. A beautiful copy of this volume of navy tales, in a handsome binding. With a black and white photographic frontispiece, and a number of plates. In a handsome prize binding, with a gilt crest to the front board which reads 'Laborum Praemia, 1910'. With the prize book plate to the front paste down, awarded to L. E. Randall from Merchant Taylors' School. Fraser's military work, explores famous fighters in the Navy. In a prize calf binding with gilt design detailing to front board, gilt title and design to the spine, and a mottled fore-edge. Externally, very smart with some shelfwear; a little bumping and rubbing to the extremities, and a few marks. There is a blindstamped ex libris to the second endpaper dated 1962, and a paper bookplate to the front pastedown, awarded to L. E. Randall from Merchant Taylors' School.
