Bath UK: B & J F Meehan, 1901. Very informative book on the famous houses in Bath and surrounding area, privately printed by author and limited to 500 copies. 228 pages with many illustrations. Book has light to medium foxing on occasional pages and outer edges plus a heavier foxing on endpapers and first two blank pages. Bookplate of Henry Somerset 9th Duke of Beaufort dated 1900 also signature S Beaufort on front endpaper, small tear to margin of one plate. outer covers are marked where deep red colour has lightened in places probly due to water at sometime. Though not a perfect copy still a pleasing copy with the bookplate and signature SEE IMAGE. DETAILED IMAGES AVAILABLE ON REQUEST. Signed by Duke of Beaufort. First Limited Edition. Cloth Covered Boards. Good Plus/No Jacket. 10¼ x 6½ Inches. Hardcover.

Original red cloth, gilt titling to the front board and the spine, top edge gilt. The binding is a little sunned and bumped, the endpapers are foxed, and there is a bookplate and ownership inscription to the front endpapers; overall, this book is in good plus condition.
