Library" on foot of spine. Text foxed with light dampstaining; but readable. Inner and outer hinges worn; spine leather rubbed with some loss. Shallow loss to the right edge of the title page. A decent copy.

Corners of boards rubbed and worn at tips, cap and tail of spine with moderate to heavy rubbing, section of first front endpaper, tissue guard and half title page loose.

Engeman pasted to front free end paper over handwriting, paste smudges on end paper, interior pages bright with a good bit of foxing and a few stains, binding shaken.
