Red cloth with gilted tiles and design and photo to the front---gilted tiles to the spine. This copy is VG . SIGNED and INSCRIBED by George Leon Varney, the author of Reminiscences of Henry Clay Barnabee, as a gift to a young lady named Lenora, in eloquent form on April 3, 1910 in Oshkosh, Wi. Exterior is bright on the front, modestly sunned to the spine. One chip along the back of the spine, but minimal edge wear. Decorative red and green EPs. Top page edges gilted, others deckled. Tissue guard for frontispiece. Illustrated. Both boards starting, but holding nicely. Inside is clear with scattered foxing. Unusual provenance..
