London - The Studio, 1928 Book. Very Good. Hardcover. First edition.. A work on theAnglo-Welsh artistFrank Brangwyn. The first edition of this work. Unfortunately lacking the original dustwrapper. With a brief biographical introduction and eight facsimile plates of Brangwyn's works. Brangwyn worked as a painter, water colourist, engraver, illustrator and progressive designer. He worked using several different media including stained glass, ceramics and woodcuts. Condition: In original paper covered boards. Externally, very smart with small loss to the head of spine due to rubbing. Minor rubbing to the extremities. Prior owner's signature to the recto of front endpaper, Helen Reis. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are generally bright with light scattered spots throughout. Overall: VERY GOOD.
