New York: The Viking Press, 1968. Hardcover. First Edition, First Printing. 5.25 x 7.75in. 181pp. Publisher's quarter cloth over paper-covered boards. NEAR FINE in Very Good dust jacket protected in a removable archival cover. The book itself shows a small dent at the top edge, else Fine/As New. The dust jacket shows a long closed tear at the hinge and front panel which presents nicely underneath the mylar, spine lightly tanned with some shallow chips, otherwise is not price-clipped remaining bright, colorful, and distinct. As pictured.
Synopsis
The Father Hunt is a Nero Wolfe detective novel by Rex Stout, published by the Viking Press in 1968. "This is the first Nero Wolfe novel in nearly two years," the front flap of the dust jacket reads, "an unusual interval for the productive Rex Stout, who celebrated his eightieth birthday in December 1966."
