Contemporary full olive-green calf by Hayday, sides ruled with double gilt fillets, spine with raised bands and richly gilt-decorated compartments, red and brown morocco labels, gilt inner dentelles, marbled endpapers and edges. 21 wood-engraved plates including frontispiece, numerous vignettes in the letterpress. Armorial bookplate of Samuel Eaton Edge to front pastedown. Some light rubbing to extremities, spotting to leather, contents clean, generally a very good, handsomely bound copy.
