This is award-winning Reginald Hill's second crime novel. It is a story of walkers in Cumbria who and mistaken for rapists by the police. One gets away and must prove his innocence. Although published under the Collins Crime Club imprint the jacket blurb points to this being a novel, and that the author has the skills of a novelist.
The book is clean with no inscriptions or marks. The only defect is some light fox marks to fore edge. Light wear to the jacket base of spine o/w clean, bright with no tears. Laid in is a hand written postcard from Reginald Hill and signed Reg, dated 18/8/05.
