London: Cassell & Co Ltd, 1927. First edition, 1927. Hardback. 216pp. Brown cloth covered boards with black titles to upper board and spine. Inset coloured vignette to upper board. Four illustrations by H. M. Brock (colour frontispiece plus three black & white). No jacket. Book in good condition. Boards clean and bright. Some rubbing to edges and especially to extremities of spine. Small area of wear to bottom centimetre of rear hinge. Very slight lean to spine. Internally clean and bright - just some faint toning to final page of text, which looks as if a postcard or similar had been kept there.
