About This Item
London: George Johnson, 1925. First Edition. Stapled wrappers (4.25 x 5.5 inches). 32 pp. With b&w illustrations. Some fading to edges. Very good. Jardine Ellis was a master of what is known to Conjurers as close quarter work. The majority of his effects were designed to puzzle the single onlooker, and in this particular class of Magical deception he was a past master. Ellis was quite secretive about his effects but once stated "when I am gone it does not matter what becomes of them. So, here are explanations of 12 of his deceptions.
